Quarry Capital is a boutique commercial property syndicator with small offices in Christchurch and Auckland.

With over 20 years in property syndication, we know that it offers a viable path for kiwi’s to sustainably grow their financial assets over time. It’s our passion to use our knowledge, experience and skill to grow people’s individual wealth through the power of collective investment.

Quarry Capital Limited currently manages a property portfolio valued at over $310m on behalf of approximately 350 investors across sixteen property syndicates. Our portfolio is diverse with a mix of industrial, childcare and office property investments.

Our Story

In 2012, David Kitson was offered the opportunity of taking over the management of nine commercial property schemes from an Auckland based syndicator, with assets under management of $140m. Many of these schemes were in financial distress so one of Quarry’s roles was to realise the properties and return as much capital to investors as possible. By March 2018, all nine syndicates had either been wound up or successfully transferred to another manager.

Quarry Capital was incorporated in 2012 and received its market service licence in 2017. Since 2015, Quarry has added seven property syndicates to its portfolio, the most recent in July 2022. One has successfully been sold.

In August 2023, Quarry Capital purchased the business of DABS Consulting Limited, extending the scale of its operations to sixteen property syndicates and diversifying its predominately South Island property book and investor base.

Every staff member at Quarry Capital brings significant financial, investment and property experience to the table. Many of us have been with our organisation since it started, developing strong personal relationships with our investors and other third parties along the way. We work with each other – and with you.

Our independent directors not only provide governance support for Quarry, but they are also involved in the due diligence process for all new potential property opportunities as members of the Quarry Investment Committee.
